Morganite gemstone

Morganite is manganese-bearing beryl, named in 1911 after financier J.P. Morgan. Its soft pink and peach tones have made it a leading bridal alternative to pink sapphire and pink diamond.

Like all beryls, it can grow into very large clean crystals - 100+ ct cut gemstones are not uncommon.
